The IRS has implemented several changes to the way that transcript requests are handled.  These include:

  • New fraud prevention measures help deter tax identify fraud and other identity-related issues that could delaying the ability to receive transcripts.
  • An updated list of acceptable business titles.
  • Updated procedures for handling 4506-T form edits/changes.
